Can You Really Build Massive Muscles In 7 Minutes a Day?
Jon Benson claims that all it takes to build muscles like his is to train 7 minutes a day. In his program 7-Minute Muscle, Jon designed a training program that is based on a series of simple exercises that only takes 7 minutes a day. The real question is whether Jon Benson is another bodybuilding “dude” who is a scam or is there more to this program than meets the eye?
For a start Jon Benson is definitely not a scam. He is a well respected personal trainer and a regular contributor to some of the top fitness magazines. His Fit Over 40 program has earned him praise from some of the leading experts in the field. So has he lost his mind with a program called 7-Minute Muscle?
Building muscle in 7 minutes a day is most certainly possible – in theory at least. The problem is just that for most of us it takes 7 minutes just to warm up and to get into the zone. Having an entire workout in that short a time is probably a bit unrealistic. BUT, there certainly is some value in Jon Benson’s theory.
When you read the 7-Minute Muscle ebook you will understand why he makes these bold claims. A lot of what he teaches is based on Psycho physiology which is the science of how the mind and the body work together. It’s a case of mind over muscle and some of his techniques that would have been ridiculed ten years ago is becoming more mainstream now and Olympic athlete are using these exact same methods to maximize their training.
7 Minute Muscle is all about efficient training. Jon says that those guys who are training 90 minutes a day, killing themselves in the gym are doing more harm than good. Apart from placing an unhealthy strain on their joints, they are actually over exerting their adrenal glands which slows down the muscle building process.
Although you probably won’t get huge and shredded from scratch with this program, you will most definitely learn some unique workouts. The focus is on efficiency and on getting the most out of every lift and every minute you spend in the gym. Maybe 7 minutes a day is a bit unrealistic, but the principals are solid and the workouts are well structured. If you are someone who have limited time to keep your body in shape, then these workouts will work perfectly into your busy schedule.
