Gain Muscle, Lose Fat and Get Ripped For Summer
If you want to gain muscle and lose fat, you need to eat the kinds of food and do the kinds of exercises that force the calories into your muscles. If you eat a lot of fatty foods, the food will go to your fat cells unless you are exercising a great deal and are forcing the calories into muscle. If you instead eat a balanced protein diet, the calories tend to go to muscle, particularly if you do bodybuilding work to force it to go there.
Doing a great deal of cardiovascular training will not help you very much when it comes to the ability to gain muscle, lose fat and keep your weight up. You need to work out with weights and push yourself in that area in order to gain muscle, lose fat and look ripped and chiseled all over your body. Lifting weights is more than just a cosmetic activity. You can actually improve your body’s health by participating in extensive weight training.
When you gain muscle and lose fat, you are putting extra pressure on your bones so that your bones are forced to become stronger and thicker. You will have a lesser chance of getting osteoporosis, or thinning of the bones. Bodybuilding works better, in fact, than running which can actually weaken the bones through endless hours of pounding on the pavement. The gain in bone is gradual in body building but cannot be lost very easily, as long as you keep up some bodybuilding activity. Both upper and lower body bones are gained in bodybuilding because you work out both body areas.
In the procedures where you gain muscle, lose fat and strengthen your bones, you actually stand to reduce the number and intensity of injuries while working out. You also strengthen the connective tissue between muscle and bone (and between bone and bone) so that they get strained or sprained less than if you hadn’t worked out. Up to eighty percent of all injuries when doing workouts are due to injuries from the muscles, tendons and bones not being strong enough to tolerate the forces placed upon them. Because bodybuilding actually involves strengthening the deep tendons, it is a good activity for injury prevention.
When you gain muscle, lose fat and strength bone, you can improve other body areas as well. Such things include a reduction in breast cancer, colon cancer, uterine cancer, prostate cancer and heart disease or blood pressure disorders. It’s the reduction in fat that ultimately play upon these body areas so that you don’t suffer so much from strokes, heart attacks and congestive heart failure. Body building does a great deal toward your ability to gain muscle, lose fat and improve bodily health overall.
You need to consider maximizing your diet in order to build muscle, lose fat and improve health. Your metabolism goes way up while doing bodybuilding workouts so you need to eat in order to gain lean muscle mass. If you don’t eat well, you won’t gain the weight you need. The diet must be high in protein, have a moderate amount of complex carbohydrates in it and a mild amount of healthy fats in it. You need to eat every 3 hours at a minimum in order to keep your metabolic rate up and in order to keep foods in your system for muscle and bone growth.
As you work out, the fat will melt off and go to muscle, further defining the muscle so it looks ripped and chiseled. You can use protein in the form of meats or in the forms of dairy, beans, eggs, protein drinks, beans and nuts in order to keep the content of protein in your diet high and working toward the ability to gain muscle, lose fat and maximize your health.
